I was sent a bill showing 12% interest. It usury to collect more than 10% on any loan absent a contract. Plus I drove a total od 3 days and hit three things. I was fired and never drove again because I think my training was done too fast and since I have ADD my learning curve is longer. My next call will be to the Utah Attorney General Consumer Fraud so please advise. PMc

If any of you are looking at this before going to C.R. England or are going through training, I urge to NOT sign their stupid contract. Not only does it cover the "loan", which it most certainly is not an actual loan as you do not speak with a financial adviser to cover the details of the "loan", but it also has a few other little things of note that you really need to read.

First off, there's a Zero Competition clause. This clause means that once you sign this contract, you have to work for C.R. England for 9 months to cover the cost of your "education". This education is rushed and spotty, with only a few trainers that actually know what they are doing. I was one of the luckier ones that went to the Indiana branch, the trainers there aren't absolutely braindead. Shout out to Doug, he's the man.

Second, you are unable to take these guys to court in the event of ANYTHING due to the contract. But they can try and take you there.

Third, I stopped driving after my termination. Being terminated from C.R. England nullifies the entire contract as long as it wasn't for unsafe driving or violent actions. I was let go of because I did not submit a vehicle check both before and after my days driving. The United States Department of Transportation requires that a driver completes EITHER a Pre-Trip Inspection OR a Post-Trip Inspection, not both. Yet I was breaking company policy without even being aware of it, as I had continued doing such for an entire six months before they called me in. I let them fire me without any argument, I welcomed it. The company is a nightmare.

For two years now, Eagle Atlantic has been harassing me for the sum of $2562.89 like rabid dogs searching for a squirrel. They may be a financial institution in Salt Lake City, but I never spoke to a councilor or representative in Burns Harbor, Indiana. Our trainers just told us to sign the contract or our driver's licenses would be withheld. And by withholding the new license, which by the way you lose your previous state's license because you need the new state's, you have no identification other than your birth certificate and social security card. Which, by the way, is illegal. We call that coercion in civilized society, and I'm almost positive that it is a felony offense.

I'm leaving this information here so that maybe some poor chap can read this and save themselves from the stupidest decision they'll ever make about their career. DO NOT SIGN THE CONTRACT. And even if you do sign the contract, tell Eagle Atlantic to leave you alone. No matter what you think the document says, they can't do anything to you.
